The Demise of the Democrat Party

President Trump has said that the Democrats are the “party of crime” and that the “media” are the “enemy of the People”.  Many take these statements to be hyperbole.  They are not.  The only “error” is in the name “Democrat”.  There no longer is a “Democrat” party, other than In Name Only….”DINOs”.

For those who have visited the website, Home Of The Eagle, and have learned the true nature of “government” you probably remember that “Democracy” derives from the two Greek words, “Demos”, meaning “People” and “Kratein” meaning “to Rule” (or “Kratos” meaning “Power), “the rule of the people”. This sounds like a good system, at first.  The problem with it is that the “majority” is not constrained.  In every “pure” democracy in history the majority has used its power to ride roughshod over the rights of the minority and, as James Madison – the “father” of the constitution – stated: “Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention, have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths”.

Knowing this, the founders gave us a Constitutional Republic in which the majority is constrained by the law and the rights of the minority were protected under the Constitution.  They understood that “democracy” itself was not a stable form of government.  Historically, it had been only a “transition” from a stable form of government, a republic, to an oligarchy of the elite.

The founders of our nation defined the principles, upon which the government, of The United States of America, is based in the Declaration of Independence.  Foremost amongst these principles, is that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”.

The expression of these principles and the rules of operation (the law) of our nation is The Constitution for the United States of America.  Within this are specific definitions of many of these Unalienable Rights, among them:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”.

“…the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation…”

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury… nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law”

Under Supreme Court case law: “Presumed innocent until proven guilty”[ Coffin v. United States (1895)]

Under “High crimes and misdemeanors”(as the Founders defined them): The overturning of direct elections (an impeachable offense of the judiciary).

In recent decades the “democrat” party has:

Repeatedly ignored the extensive writings and statements of the Founders that religion was an integral part of both the principles and values of the United States and that it was absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of our system of government! Time after time democrat politicians have spearheaded the war on religion, through endless legislation and opinions from an (overdue impeachment) biased court system, to deliberately interfere with “the free exercise” of religion.

The opinions of the Founders, and the basis for such opinions were clearly stated by the Founders.  Ignoring this the democrats, and a democratically controlled court system, has deliberately engaged in a conspiracy to disarm the people in absolute knowing defiance of the Constitution!

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects…” is a specific directive to the government, yet elected Democrat officials, party leaders and party officials have deliberately and knowingly encouraged violent measures against any person who disagrees with the official party line.  These knowing actions have resulted in repeated instances of violence, violation of citizens civil rights and evil actions up to and including attempted murder by individuals responding to the urging of such democrat party members!

Elected democrat Senators have, knowingly conspired to deny American citizen political opponents due process under the law – while conspiring with democrat Department of Justice and FBI officials to obstruct criminal investigations concerning members of their party; attempted to usurp Judicial Authority; obstructed both the process of judicial confirmation and the criminal legal system with the sole objective of corrupting the Supreme Court nomination process to gain “control” of the Supreme Court.

These are NOT the actions of an American party, or the actions of any party whose values and beliefs are, even vaguely, “democratic”.  They are not the beliefs of a party that holds ANY principles and moral values in common with the Spirit that is America.

There is only one type of belief system with which the actions, of  a such a CONSPIRACY OF EVIL individuals, are consistent – a STATIST government – specifically a Marxist/Leninist COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT.  In such a system an “ELITE” OLIGARCHY of a few “SUPERIOR” people believe that they ARE the STATE and that all others exist ONLY FOR THE USE OF THE STATE!

The “mask” behind which the, once, Democrat Party has hidden has finally come off.  The rise of the American people has driven them into desperation.  They no longer even attempt to pretend that they are interested in any type of “compromise”.  Their true principles – Government ownership of all means of production, the lack of any type of “private” property or individual “rights”, denial of freedom of speech, threats, intimidation and violence are the new “norm”.  The value of any individual is A DIRECT RESULT OF THEIR IDENTITY AND “ANCESTRY” ONLY and only “they” define “acceptable” identity and ancestry.

The sad part of this “Devolution” of the Democrat Party is that, at one time, the term “liberal” was not synonymous with “anti-American”.  At one time the Democrat Party was the party of the anti-federalist, anti-big government movement.  Sadly, as is described in Home Of The Eagle, through the process of Ideological Subversion, the principles and values of that party have been replaced with the totalitarianism of Socialism.

Knowing this we can understand why the democrat party has become the party of hate and destruction, why they don’t care if America is damaged or destroyed.  To them, we are anathema!  By our very existence and success, we prove to the world that their “world view” is not only tyrannically evil but destructive and, ultimately, doomed to failure.

The “democrat” party has, undeniably become the party of crimeIt has also, in conspiracy with; “leftists” in the Republican Party (RINO/Never Trumpers) who would sacrifice this nation to keep their position and power, a complicit (Main) media, educators supporting “Commie Core”, Silicon Valley and Social Media Giants, the racist anarchists of BLM, useful idiots in sports and entertainment, “Commiewoodsince the 1930s, the violent, fascist, anarchists of ANTIFA, several generations of “snowflake” students and the deep, treasonous, corruption at many levels of the federal government, collectively, become the Axis Of Evil and… THE ENEMY OF THE NATION!

In closing, we need to remember that not ALL Americans who do, or have, identified themselves as “Democrats” are evil people.  Many are as disgusted with the party as we are.  All of us have been lied to, been fooled by someone we trusted or made mistakes.  As Thomas Jefferson stated in his inaugural address in 1801, “We have called by different names brethren of the same principle”.  With new knowledge can come new wisdom and new hope that we can work together to bring our nation and the Spirit that is America, once again, into the light.  It will take a generation or more to excise the cancer that has infested our nation but, working together, we CAN do it but only if we start now, this election IS the most important in our lifetimes!

“Socialist American” – an Oxymoron

A recent Gallup poll (July 30-Aug 5, 2018, +/- 3% error, 95% confidence) reported that, of respondents asked if they had a positive, or negative, reaction to the term “Socialism“, 57% of Democrats (or leaning Democratic) responded positively.  18% of Republicans (or leaning Republican) also responded positively.

Generally I don’t put a lot of stock in polls.  As the last election showed, they are easily “weighted”, one way or another.  This poll, however, has been taken several times – in 2010, 2012, 2016 and the most recent.  What the history shows is a slow, but steady decline in the number of Democrats/leaning Democrat favoring Capitalism and a similar increase in those favoring Socialism (Republican response has been fairly stable).

Part of this is due to the perversion of the “education” system into a propaganda system for over two generations.  However, the fact that an economic system/form of government (Socialism/Statism) – so totally opposed to the basic values of America – is growing in favor indicates severe lack of understanding of the differences between the two.

For those who have not yet read “The evidence”>”Origins and Terms”>”Government” and “Socialism”, on Home of the Eagle (not so subtle hint), let me summarize.  “Socialism” and “Capitalism” are not systems of “government”.  They are the, economic, aspects of two diametrically opposed social systems (governments) – “Statism” and “Republic“.

The political viewpoint of “statism” is exactly the opposite of that of a “republic”.  In a republic, sovereignty rests in the people, who delegate a small portion of that authority, to the government.  In the statist point of view, sovereignty lies completely in the hands of the state and the people exist only to benefit the state.  In the words of Dr. John Ridpath, a retired professor of economics and intellectual history at York University in Toronto, Canada (emphasis and [comments] added):

“Socialism is, most succinctly, the doctrine that every individual man, in fact, has no right to exist for his own sake.  That his life and his work do not belong to him [remember “You didn’t build that”?]; but they belong to society – that’s collectivism.  That the only justification of his existence is service to society – that’s altruism.  And that “society” may dispose of him in any way that it pleases for the sake of what it deems to be its own collective good – that’s statism.

The essential characteristic of socialism is the denial of individual rights to property.  Which means the denial that you have the right to own the values and property, which you produced by your own efforts, and decide how to dispose of them as you wish [justifying “redistribution”].  That is the essential characteristic of socialism.  Of all socialism….”

“…..The real enemy is statism; it is not just socialism.  And the real antidote to statism, of a socialist, Fascist, communist, monarchical – whatever, military dictatorship – whatever kind of statist societies you could have in mind.  The only principal antidote to that is the establishment of a society consistently based on the principal of individual rights [Constitutional Republic].  Capitalism is the only alternative to these types of immoral social systems.”

Dr. Ridpath was lecturing on the “moral” aspects of the two, totally opposed, social systems.  For those who want a clearer picture of what the practical application of Statism entails, Irish playwright, and avowed Socialist, George Bernard Shaw describes the Statist philosophy, in detail:

“I don’t want to punish anybody but there are an extraordinary number of people whom I want to kill. I think it would be a good thing to make everybody come before a properly appointed board, just as he might come before the income tax commissioner. And say every five years or seven years – just put them there and say – Sir, or Madam, will you be kind enough to justify your existence. If you’re not producing as much as you consume, or perhaps a little more, then clearly we cannot use the big organization of our society, for the purpose of keeping you alive, because your life does not benefit us and it can’t be of very much use to yourself.”

According to the poll cited here, over half of the Democrats/Democrat Leaning respondents do not see any difference between “Socialism” and “Capitalism”!  For this you have the Axis Of Evil, especially the Commiecrat Party, the media and the “education” system, to thank!

It’s easy to cite the “common wisdom” that all liberals, progressives, Democrats, etc. are “brain dead”.  Doing so would be a grave error.  Members of “the left” today fall into three, primary classes.  The first consists of the mindless “sheep”, who are incapable of logical, independent thought, or are too lazy or cowardly to take responsibility for themselves and their actions.  These folks often want someone to tell them what to do, believe that “government” should supply all of their needs – for freeand are very often  violent.

The second, more dangerous, class is the “elites” who, from their belief in their natural superiority, pursue power and control over everyone else (the Party “leadership & “yellow dog” politicians).  This group believes completely in “the ends justify the means” and are the ones screaming “Due Process”, “Innocent until proven guilty” and other cornerstones of our Justice System, must be set aside for the good of the “People”/”State” (e.g. Pelosi, Schumer, Franken.. Feinstein & etc).

The third class – today a small minority – are individuals who still think for themselves, try to understand all sides of a conflict and base their decisions on facts, not emotions but don’t admit their political party is no longer “American”.  Sadly, this group is generally threatened, intimidated and ostracized by the first two groups as “traitors”, “racists” & other such terms the left use to demonize those who dare to disagree with the “Party” line .  This group is all that is left of what was once a Real American Political Party.

The first two classes are mortal enemies of the spirit that is America.  The beliefs, principles and ideals, that are the cornerstones of this great nation, are anathema to them.  For over a century they have bent their every effort to destroying the foundations of our nation and enslaving its people.

The recent “Court of Star Chamber”, that the Commiecrats used to try to destroy one of the finest legal minds of this century, is an excellent example of their intent to destroy the founding principles of our legal system. They will accept nothing less than our unconditional surrender or our complete destructionIn their basic goals, they are no different than the radical foreign terrorists threatening us today – submit or die!

If you have any doubts about this just listen to Commiecrats like Maxine Waters or Eric Holder – both of whom have urged the Commiecrat sheep to use violence against any who support the rule of law and justice!

TAKE IT TO THE BANK!  THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF THE INHERENT VIOLENCE OF THE SOCIALIST/STATIST AOE!

For decades we ignored the threat of foreign terrorists.  As a result, thousands of Americans died.  If we fail to remember our history, and make the same mistake with the AOE terrorists within, millions of Americans could die or be reduced to “subjects” in a land where once they were free.  We have to accept the reality that we are in a war for our very existence, as a people and as a nation!

“Statism” in all its forms – Communism, socialism, liberalism, progressivism, etc. is the absolute opposite of Americanism.  Any such term, placed before the title “American”, IS an oxymoron!  Any person supporting any such Statist ideology is an AINO – “American In Name Only”!

The only question you have to answer now is, next month, what will you support

 – MOB RULE OR AMERICA?  THE AOE HAS LEFT YOU NO MIDDLE GROUND!

The Decline of Principle

On April 30, 1789 George Washington took the inaugural oath as the first President of the United States of America, serving from 1789 to 1797.  He was later to write to James Madison, the “father of the Constitution”, that “As the first of every thing, in our situation will serve to establish a Precedent, it is devoutly wished on my part, that these precedents may be fixed on true principles.”

As the first President, Washington was selected, unanimously, by the Electoral College.  Up to this point, while the colonies were united in their creation of the new nation, the people were divided into two “parties” – the “Federalists” supporting the Constitution and the “Anti-federalists” opposing it.  The primary points of disagreement concerned the allocation of “Sovereignty” (power) between the new “Federal” government and the “Sovereign” states.

During the first decade of our new nation the Federalists were ascendant, led by then Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton.  Washington believed that the area of foreign policy was primarily the concern of the presidency.  Concerning Congress, he chose not to infringe on the policy making powers he felt the Constitution gave congress.  This policy was mirrored by the first Vice President of the United States, John Adams, an ardent Federalist.

The anti-federalist opposition at that time was led by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison Jr.   Jefferson knew that they needed a national party to challenge the growing Federalist party. About 1792 they organized the Democratic-Republican Party.  They formally referred to themselves as  “Republicans” after their ideology of “republicanism”.

Washington and Adams both served two terms in their respective offices.  Washington, wearied from many years service to his country, declined to run for a third term in office.  The elections of 1797 resulted in John Adams being elected the 2nd President of the United States and Thomas Jefferson becoming the 2nd Vice President of the United States (at that time the Vice President was still the candidate for President who received the second most number of votes).

The French Revolutionary Wars (1792-1802) caused further division within America with the Federalist Party, currently in control of Congress and the Presidency, favoring the United Kingdom and the Jay Treaty (1795) while the Democratic-Republicans, initially, favored the, seemingly more democratic, French Revolution and opposed the Jay Treaty.

The end result was the Republicans gaining control of Congress and, with the election of Thomas Jefferson as the third President, control of the Executive Branch in 1801.  The Republicans retained control until 1816 while the Federalist Party gradually faded away, collapsing in 1815.  The Democratic-Republicans gradually fractured, splitting apart in the 1820s.

As can be seen, throughout the period of the 1790s-1800s, political “parties” emerged in America divided along dearly held opinions of the proper duties and authority inherent in the different areas and levels (Federal & Local) of government and in what actions/lack of action by government were consistent with or in conflict with the founding principles of the Union.

One of the most notable aspects of this time was the attitude of the two opposing sides with respect to those founding principles.  During his farewell speech, in 1796 President Washington offered  (emphasis added) “…some sentiments which are the result of much reflection, of no inconsiderable observation, and which appear to me all-important to the permanency of your felicity as a people.”

– “The unity of government which constitutes you one people is also now dear to you. It is justly so, for it is a main pillar in the edifice of your real independence, the support of your tranquility at home, your peace abroad; of your safety; of your prosperity; of that very liberty which you so highly prize. But as it is easy to foresee that, from different causes and from different quarters, much pains will be taken, many artifices employed to weaken in your minds the conviction of this truth; as this is the point in your political fortress against which the batteries of internal and external enemies will be most constantly and actively (though often covertly and insidiously) directed, it is of infinite moment that you should properly estimate the immense value of your national union to your collective and individual happiness; that you should cherish a cordial, habitual, and immovable attachment to it; accustoming yourselves to think and speak of it as of the palladium of your political safety and prosperity; watching for its preservation with jealous anxiety; discountenancing whatever may suggest even a suspicion that it can in any event be abandoned; and indignantly frowning upon the first dawning of every attempt to alienate any portion of our country from the rest, or to enfeeble the sacred ties which now link together the various parts.”

– “I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.”

– “This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.”

– “The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.”

– “Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.”

– “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice ? And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

On March 4, 1801 President Thomas Jefferson took the oath of office as the third President of the United States of America.  In his inaugural speech he cautioned:

“During the contest of opinion through which we have past, the animation of discusions and of exertions has sometimes worn an aspect which might impose on strangers unused to think freely, and to speak and to write what they think; but this being now decided by the voice of the nation, announced according to the rules of the constitution all will of course arrange themselves under the will of the law, and unite in common efforts for the common good.         All too will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will, to be rightful, must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal laws must protect, and to violate would be oppression. Let us then, fellow citizens, unite with one heart and one mind, let us restore to social intercourse that harmony and affection without which liberty, and even life itself, are but dreary things. And let us reflect that having banished from our land that religious intolerance under which mankind so long bled and suffered, we have yet gained little if we countenance a political intolerance, as despotic, as wicked, and capable of as bitter and bloody persecutions. During the throes and convulsions of the ancient world, during the agonising spasms of infuriated man, seeking through blood and slaughter his long lost liberty, it was not wonderful that the agitation of the billows should reach even this distant and peaceful shore; that this should be more felt and feared by some and less by others; and should divide opinions as to measures of safety; but every difference of opinion is not a difference of principle. We have called by different names brethren of the same principle. We are all republicans: we are all federalists

Within these flowery sentiments, from two statesmen differing in the application of principle yet in agreement of principle, lies the strength of a nation dedicated to “…one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Now, I challenge you to compare these actions and sentiments to the “Court of Star Chamber” that was the disgrace of the left’s AXIS OF EVIL persecution of an innocent man!  If you cannot see the difference – “go home from us in peace”!

Home of the Eagle

America is not simply a geographic area, a particular collection of people or a system of government.  The heart of America is a spiritHome of the Eagle is a celebration of the spirit that is America. That spirit is the spirit of freedom and it demands certain things of us.  When we fail in our responsibilities to that spirit, both the spirit and our freedom are reduced.

The vision of our founders has produced a nation that has never known the conquerors heel and a society that is the dream of those still oppressed.  In our success, however, we have become complacent and lax in our responsibilities to the Spirit.  An unholy force is lose in this land and has pushed our nation to the edge of crisis.   It is time ALL American patriots put aside petty differences, defy those who would separate and enslave us and fulfill their responsibilities to the Spirit that IS America!
